We loved using Postable for our first wedding reception, you made invites such a breeze for us. Unfortunately we had a terrible time getting RSVPs. For our second reception we are really tempted to use invitations that have the RSVP return cards as well, too many people just don’t seem to bother going to the website. We so love Postable though.

    Hello,
I think it would be really great if there was an option to add text over the main photo on customizable cards. I want to create an anniversary card that has a photo with “Happy Anniversary Grandma & Grandpa” written on it, but it doesn’t seem like there’s an easy way to do this.

  • Danielle

I really would like a space for PS as well! Right now you can only add that in the signature box which looks really unnatural squished to the side

  • Stef

Hello! Not sure if this post is still active but I have a suggestion re: refreshing contacts. Currently, when you request a contact freshen, the “last updated” field automatically changes to the day you submitted the request. Instead, it would be great to have a “refresh pending” notice until the contact completes the request. As it is now, you can’t tell whether the contact has updated or approved the address, or ignored the request! This is particularly important since the non-customizable email message is often mistaken for spam.

  • Laura

I’d love some templated text options for the inside of the cards that we could choose from and adjust accordingly.

  • Matthew Madson

    Hi Postable,

Great service. Would love to be able to upload an image(s) and have a printout of the image(s) included with the card.

    Thanks,
    Matt

  • The ability for Postable to integrate with a CRM platform like PipelineDeals would be great! If it could pull customer info from the CRM and automatically populate the fields in Postable and send a new card when the customer enters a certain stage (i.e. estimate pending, estimate approved, scheduled, closed) in the customer life cycle. Thank you! Great product you have there!

  • Dani

I love Postable since my family lives out of state, I would use the site more if I was able to add gift cards to the card. Especially birthday cards or the option to be mailed to me and than I can than add the gift card and mail to whoever I am sending the birthday card too, but still have a pretty filled out envelope for me. That’s one the main reasons I love Postable because I love the font options because I have horrible handwriting.

  • Jamie! What a nice surprise! I sent you a “freshen contact” via postable because I don’t have my sb account anymore. Let’s catch up in snail mail again!

  • Postable

A PS box is a cool idea! Thanks for writing in! You can use these characters now with most of the handwritten cards (any latin characters will work).

  • Postable

Awesome ideas! You can always edit the way your return address prints (to only include your name instead of your whole family) 🙂

  • Anna Wagner

Please allow us to use a different font for the envelope. When I write cards “from my kid” (and use the “as if your kid wrote it” font), I worry that the font on the outside is going to have trouble being read (some of the numbers are tough to read) and would rather choose a different font on the outside.

Also – the picture editing should be improved. Cannot rotate pictures once they’re added to the card – should be able to VERY easily embed some basic photo editing (like paperless post or someone like that) that would make it much easier to use…

  • Karishmaa

I would love to see a series of travel or country specific cards, an upgrade from postcards. Perhaps also allow us to insert a photo image that can printed inside the card would be a great personalised way than just writing a message. This could work in so many ways – Mother’s/Father’s Day, birthdays, friendships, weddings etc!

  • P

    1. Have a certified mail option for extra $ so we can track the card.
    2. Partner with big brands to add chocolates/flowers/ etc to order for certain special occasions. You can pilot this on a holiday like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day etc.

  • Tem

Definitely would love to be able to change font size and color no matter the selected font! Also being able to move the text box would be cool too. Thanks!

  • Ryan

Hello Postable! I love what you guys are already doing and the great variety of cards! Here are some ideas I have thought of over time that I think would make it even better…

To be able to customize the back side of cards either with designs, text, or a photo.

Have Seal and send formatted cards. Or other fold options, additional options of designs with foil or faux foils, more fancy/calligraphy-like handwritten fonts, custom or different design options for postage stamps, more color options for envelopes or matching envelopes to card designs (Maybe a wedding or event section with these additional features?)

Have combo card packs. (ex. pack of five cards with different designs for holidays or thank you cards)

Able to get envelopes addressed with no cards and/or address labels.

Thanks! Can’t wait to see what you guys do next!

  • Hi!

I’m new to Postable so forgive me if you already offer this service and I just haven’t seen it yet. I would love to make printable, on brand labels with all my addresses. I mail out more than cards and would love an easy way to create package labels.

Thank you for your awesome service! Happy 4th!

    Best,
    Alicia

  • lindsey

Love the idea of an app! Any chance you could have Thank You cards that could cost closer to $2 or less? Also, ever thought of a monthly membership, varying levels of a membership based on how many cards you tend to send each month?

  • Stan Duda

I would very much like the ability to digitally upload my signature so that when the cards go out, they have more of a personalized feel to those we’re sending them to.

  • Rebecca

I would love to be able to change the font color of the writing. I’m not a blue ink person, but some of the best fonts are in blue! Also, being able to preview the way the envelope looks (I think we used to be able to do this) is great in case your saved address is your whole fam and you just want to send a card from you. Also, an app! Love this service and your site!!

  • Jamie Cassidy

Oh my God, what a small world we live in! Hi from Lettergirl (Jamie)in Arizona!! How are you doing? I’m going to look you up on sb! 🙂

  • Ahab

    Thanks for the feedback!

Something else did come to mind, actually! A space to write a PS is sorely needed, I almost always write one when I’m sending things by hand. Also, please add more characters, like é and à! Otherwise, I’m forced to write cards in English 🙁

  • I would love to be able to favorite cards. That way I can mark the ones that I love and be able to get to them quickly when I need to send a card.

  • Postable

Yep! You could mix and match 🙂

Choose the ‘Font | Schedule | More Options’ (under the recipient address) > Send them to me. Then save and proceed to checkout. When you’re in your cart, click on ‘Continue shopping’ and choose a new card. You can do this as many times as you’d like. All the cards that have been selected as ‘send them to me’ in one order will be mailed to you in one box.

  • Craig White

I’d like to see options added to the custom templates, like being able to add words to the front of the card, offering different grid templates that 3, 4, or 5 photos could be dropped in to make a montage, and different borders you could drop over your photo.

  • Wendy

I would LOVE to have an app!! I often use the address book when mailing packages to customers and it would be easier to navigate on my phone if there were an app vs the mobile version on the Internet! I would also like to be able to put in more than one phone number such as a home and cell or work! Also a number for spouse would be great!!

  • Postable

Thanks so much for writing in 🙂

We’re working on an address book feature which would show you which contact was sent what cards and when. You can actually send yourself a box of blank cards now with addresses envelopes 🙂 It’s a bit of a work around so if you need help, just email info@postable.com.

  • Emma Frutkin

It would be great if you could start to sell a few little gifts. Often times, I need to send a small gift & card, (baby rattles, pens, notepads, kitchen towels, etc.) and it would make my life much easier to do it all on your platform. Thank you!!!

  • Postable

Great idea, thanks for the tip! We’ll be sure to add more customizable birthday cards soon 🙂

  • Postable

    You got it 🙂

You can actually do this now by clicking on ‘Font | Schedule | More Options’ (located below the recipient’s address) > Send them to me > Addressed envelopes.

  • Postable

Great suggestions! We have postcards on the site now which cost less than the other cards. Most flat cards can be sent as postcards 🙂

    Thanks for writing in!

  • Postable

Great idea! We’re working on adding the ability to include an image on the inside of the card to insert something like a doodle or signature 🙂

  • Postable

Great ideas, thanks for writing in!

You can also choose between 3 colors of envelopes (white, Kraft, cream) for flat cards now 🙂

  • Postable

Great idea! We’re updating the look of the address book soon, maybe adding an image could be fun! Right now, if you share your Postable information with a friend who also has a Postable address book, your information will automatically be updated.

    Thanks for writing in 🙂

  • Postable

Great suggestion! We’re working on adding a feature on the address book to see what cards/when were sent to each contact 🙂

  • Postable

Yes, so true! That’s a great idea. In the meantime, you can also use the search bar tool to narrow down what you’re looking for (ex: Funny Birthday Card).

  • Postable

Yes! Great suggestion. We’re working on adding the option to include a gift card 🙂 Coming soon.

  • Postable

    Great suggestion!

You can actually send yourself a box of blank cards with addressed envelopes now. It’s a bit of a work around on the current site (we’re working on making it easier), but feel free to email info@postable.com and they’ll help you out!

  • Postable

Great suggestions! Thanks for writing in 🙂

We’re working on adding a gift card option, coming soon!

  • Jennifer

I would love an easier way to keep track of which card i’ve sent to which contact. I never want to duplicate a Christmas or birthday card! Would also love the ability to order the cards and addressed envelopes to be sent to me so i could stamp and send out myself. The ability to track would be huge, but I’m not sure it’s possible…i sent out many cards last year and had not a single comment from anyone, so i literally have no idea whether anyone actually received them.

  • Postable

Awesome suggestions! Thanks for writing in 🙂

If you’re not seeing the ability to add Birthdays, your settings may have this turned off. Adjust these settings by going to Account > Your address request form.

We’re working on adding gift cards too!

  • Postable

Cool suggestion! You can choose between 3 different types of envelopes right now for the flat cards 🙂

  • Postable

Yes, awesome suggestions! The spouse birthday is now also part of the reminder emails 🙂

  • Postable

Oh no! Sorry to hear you were having issues saving your cards. We’re always working to improve the usability of the site and the saving process. Feel free to reach out to info@postable.com for help anytime 🙂

  • Postable

The site had to be updated first unfortunately, sorry for the delay 🙂

You can now include anniversaries in your address book (to adjust these settings go to Account > Your address request form).

  • Postable

Wow, this is quite the list! Thanks so much for writing in your suggestions, they’re awesome!

Each font comes in a specific color (some are blue & some are black), but this could be a good customization option in the future. We’re working on adding the ability to include an image on the inside (for the signature).

We do offer bulk discounts for users who need to purchase many cards at once as well as the ability to pre-purchase credits for our business customers, feel free to email info@postable.com for more info 🙂

  • Postable

Great suggestion! We don’t have a way to do this yet, but we like where you’re going with this 🙂 Every artist does currently have an artist page which you can access by clicking on there name anywhere on the site (every card will have a ‘by’ name).

  • Postable

Congrats! We try to add a variety of wedding invites (not everyone wants foofoo, this is true :). We’ll be sure to add some desert-like themes to the site, thanks for the tip!

  • Mrs W

Show both addresses under one name if duplicated….
When adding new address with old first name (marriage) bring up other addresses
    Ex:
    Add Sara Smith
Box pops up lists all Saras as a reminder of who you have
That way you dont have maiden and new names.

  • Postable

Yes! We’re always happy to work with you to create a custom card and then you can send it whenever you’d like via site. We’ll do all the stuffing and mailing for you 🙂

  • Postable

That’s a good point. Right now the way the cards are matched with their envelopes logistically doesn’t allow for more than one card to be placed into an envelope. We’re definitely thinking of ways to make this happen.

    Great suggestion 🙂

  • Grace

So many people use this site for wedding addresses. Why not add an option for people to RSVP on this site?

  • Corey

There are a lot of companies that send out cards year-round (thank you’s, event announcements, etc.). Postable should work with companies to create customized cards, and send those cards not just to the company for card stock, but also send out the invites/thank you’s.
So many companies just have their card stock sitting in storage collecting dust. Why not have Postable be a company’s card stock storage and sender!

  • RD

I would like to be able to send letters and/or inserts with cards so I can send more text in one envelope. I sometimes get reminders for people’s birthdays in the address book, but there should be reminders for other people in their family. There are spots to put in other dates or spouse’s birthdays, but I don’t get reminders for those dates.

  • Tom Weinland

The saving and checkout functions need to be improved. I have lost drafts before I have gotten them sent.
So, I’ve been sending out each card separately before I begin a new one.

  • Heidi

Anniversaries!!! And the app! It’s been forever since you first said that was coming. Waiting semi-patiently over here.

  • xylosx

    1. The option to have my company logo next to my return address would be nice. If I choose to use Postable for some of my business relations with whom I am also connected personally, the ability to combine the two areas of life (business and personal) while still promoting your business would be nice.

    2. Also, for valentine day cards, it would be nice if we could include a small bracelet with a heart on it, or a delicate necklace that would fit inside the envelope with ease. Have you seen those really thin and delicate jewellery that girls sometime wear?

    3. What about adding a vintage style seal to the back of the envelope where the flap closes? You know how in the days of yore people use to seal official letters with hot wax? That would be a cool feature! (I think Men’s Style Lab used to do this when they sent out personal letters inside their boxes). See video (3:15) at: https://www.iamalpham.com/index.php/topics/review-mens-style-lab-unboxing/

Seek to time 3:15 in the video for what I’m talking about. Of course, the purple wax in the video doesn’t look as nice. The traditional dark red would be awesome!

    4. Also, you guys could start selling custom return address label stamps that we could stamp onto letters that we don’t send through Postable, instead of writing out the whole address everytime.

    5. I’m not sure, but can we type in black colour font on Postable cards? Or are all the fonts in blue?

    6. The ability to upload a signature and add it to the end of each card would be nice.

    7. More elaborate hand-sketched emojis! The simple smiley face 🙂 is so normal nowadays!

    8. The ability to call a number and place an order for a card. Not everyone is connected to the internet at all times.

    9. Adding small confetti inside the cards envelope (like glitter, small trinkets, etc.)

    10. Better pricing structures that reward loyal members! $3.99 is still too high for what is essentially just a card… 🙁

    11. For cards that are shipped to the Postable user himself/herself (so that he/she can ship the card later on his/her own by physically rendering themselves at a post office), the option to choose the shipping service provider must be given. Why is it always FedEx? Why can’t I have cards shipped to me through UPS, or better yet, USPS? The USPS postman is the only one who has the key to access my apartment building’s mailbox (which is inside the building). The other logistics companies just leave a note that they couldn’t deliver the package. Then I have to go and pick it up from the local UPS and FedEx store. It’s such a hassle… (I never thought I’d be saying this, but sometimes, USPS is actually better…) 🙂

    12. What about including business/visiting cards inside the envelopes as well?

    13. Musical cards? You know the ones that play cheesy tunes when you open the card. Lol 😀

    14. An invitation system for events, i.e. sending out invitation cards on a specified date to people in my address book for, say, my birthday party?

    15. Partnering with corporate customers to send appreciation cards to their employees, say, on Christmas, or when a bonus is due. Or the CEO of the company can send a card to the employee on the employee’s birthday as a form of appreciation.

    16. Cards (and envelopes) of different shapes? (A pentagon-shaped card, perharps?)

    17. The ability to write on the cards with my own hardwriting using the Surface Pen on my Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

    18. The ability to buy and redeem Postable ‘credits’ in advance and in bulk instead of entering credit card data every time. Say I buy $50 worth of Postable credits, then I can keep using that as and when I want without having to enter credit card data everytime (even if Postable saves Credit/Debit cards, let’s say my credit/debit card expires, then I’ll have to look for a new one to enter in). With Postable ‘credits’, that problem won’t arise, because the user would’ve purchased AND PAID FOR the credits in advance. All he’ll be doing is redeeming them from time to time. This could also be a good source of extra, and ‘early’ revenue for Postable, although your books would take a hit because your ‘Unearned Revenue’ Liability account would skyrocket if people started buying in advance. TouchID (ApplePay) integration on iOS would simplify the checkout process further.

    Hope this helped! 🙂

  • Jessica Eiland

I would love to be able to customize cards even more by choosing card envelope colors or options as well as the stamps for my mail, anything customizable would help put a smile on my loved ones faces!

Also for the cards it would be nice to have more diverse cards for the diverse customer based needs such as ethnicity/race representation on cards as well as military personnel support cards.

I would have liked to more user friendly edit functions during the editing stage of card creation such as using the back button in browsers, having more advanced photo edit features for photos that may need to be sized differently due to pixel size.

Wording suggestion would be phenomenal for even more personalized greeting options ! Help me decide what’s best to say when I don’t know what to say (similar to large card brand companies- because these little messages do go a long way).

    That’s all for now!

  • May

Is there a way to keep track of favorite Featured Artist’s cards? I would like to have a list of artists that have an art line with you and get notified when their line is updated. I’m always looking for fresh new art to send via snail mail. Thank you!

  • I got married last year and we looked at card on your site. We were already limited in options because we are two guys and didn’t want anything foofoo. We also got married in the desert and you guys have plenty of forest/floral/beach/city themed cards there was a lack of desert themed cards (or at least at the time). My husband ended up designing our own and used you guys for our News Years card. Which was cute.

  • Linda Thornton

Many families send out Adoption announcements when they adopt. Also, other family members like to congratulate them with an adoption theme card. The day they go to court to sign the papers is increasingly known as “Gotcha Day.”

Would love to see more options for this 🙂

  • Postable

Cool ideas! You can organize your contacts in your address book now with the ‘groups’ feature 🙂

  • Postable

Hi! Great suggestions! You can set birthday reminders now and we’re working on adding anniversaries as well 🙂

  • Postable

Hi Marie. So awesome to hear we can help connect you and your mom! Thanks for your suggestions. We’re working on a rotate feature, but if you ever need help rotating an image, feel free to send it to info@postable.com.

There are flat cards that you can send that come in an envelope or a postcard.

  • Postable

    Awesome suggestions 🙂

You can group your contacts in your address book now 🙂 We’re working on a feature that will show you what cards you’ve sent to each contact too!

  • Postable

Yes, an app will definitely be in our future. In the meantime, the site is mobile friendly too 🙂

  • Postable

    Thanks for the feedback 🙂

An app is definitely in our future! We’re working on adding the option to purchase ready made labels as well as address envelopes (without having to buy cards as well).

  • Postable

    Thanks for the feedback 🙂

We’re working on adding the ability to order addressed envelopes (without the cards) as well as ready-to-go labels from the address book.

Right now you can order blank cards with addressed envelopes (with a little work around) and choose the sumptuous calligraphy font 🙂 Feel free to email info@postable.com if you ever need help doing this!

  • Postable

Really great suggestion! We working on offering various API options. A calendar view would definitely be useful.

  • Postable

Ah, yes. We need reminding too! You can order a box of different cards now to have them ready to go and set your account to email reminders 🙂

  • Postable

Yes! You can use one of the 4 completely blank templates we have under the ‘Custom’ tab.

  • Postable

Yes! You can actually do this now 🙂

Click on ‘Font | Schedule | More options’ (beneath the Recipient address) > Schedule the card.

  • Samantha

It would be great if we could “schedule send” – order a card to be sent in the future.

  • Postable

Great ideas! Right now you can add children’s birthdays (adjust these settings in account > your address request form) and we’re working on adding reminders for these as well as anniversaries 🙂

  • Postable

As soon as you update your information, if you’re a contact in someone else’s Postable address book it will automatically get updated 🙂

  • Postable

Awesome idea! All of our paper is either 100% recycled or cotton. We should definitely put a bit more focus on this. Thanks for the feedback!

  • Postable

The flow can be a bit confusing sometimes. We’re always working on improving the flow, sorry to hear it’s not the easiest for you! Every project can have it’s own return address and you can have as many projects in one order as you like. When you get to the cart, click on ‘continue shopping’ instead of ‘checkout now’ and you can create a new project with a different return address.

  • Postable

Ah yes! Great ideas. You can use the search bar to filter our more of what you’re looking for (ex: Funny Birthday) 🙂

  • Postable

Yes! Great ideas. You can do the first part now. Once you’ve uploaded your custom card a project will be created in your Project’s page. You can always go back into that project and send more of the same card to different/new contacts.

We’re working on adding the ability to include gift cards, coming soon 🙂

  • Postable

Great idea indeed. We’re always adding new card designs and love to hear what our users would love to see 🙂 We’re working on adding gift cards, coming soon!

  • Postable

Once you’ve made it to the cart with your first card, instead of clicking on Checkout Now, click the ‘Continue Shopping’ button. This will bring you back to the cards page for you to choose an additional card. You can do this until you’ve written all the cards you’d like 🙂

  • Postable

You can do this now by going to Account > Address book settings > Freshen Contacts. The contacts in your address book with emails that haven’t been updated recently will get an email asking to update their info 🙂

  • Postable

Neat! We’re working on figuring out a way to include images on the inside of the card to include a signature 🙂

  • Postable

You can send postcards now 🙂 Most of the flat cards can be sent as a postcard (the choice between flat card in envelope & postcard is the first option).

  • Postable

Hmm. Interesting! Right now you can separate your contacts into groups so that you can keep people in different clumps.

  • Postable

Ah yes! We have an automated birthday set up, we won’t tell 🙂 Go to Birthday > Automated Birthday Cards.

  • Postable

Yes! You can actually do this now. Click on ‘Font | Schedule | More Options’ > Schedule card (this can be found underneath the Recipient’s address).

    🙂

  • Postable

Whoa. Awesome suggestions! You can have birthday reminders emailed to you now, just make sure they’re turned on in your Account.

  • Postable

Interesting idea! You could schedule cards to be mailed out at various times throughout the year 🙂

  • Postable

Great suggestion! Right now if you send cards, the number sent will be listed in the project.

  • Anthony

I actually sent this via email a while ago, but you should have a “Year Pack” with an assortment of cards ranging from birthday to christmas to wedding to whatever really, just an assortment. Mail this to a paying customer pre-stamped and then send them an email reminding them about who’s birthday is coming up.

I often find myself not having enough time to order a card online because I had been putting it off, and end up having to go buy a card from a store on the way to an event. This could help with that cuz I have an assortment ready to roll whenever.

  • Postable

Hi! You can use the ‘freshen contacts’ tool (Account > Address book settings) to send every contact that hasn’t been updated recently an email to update their info 🙂

  • Postable

Yes, great idea! Filters would be really useful. You can use the search bar right now to look for specific cards (‘funny birthday card’) too.

  • Postable

Neat! We’re working on adding a gift card option soon 🙂 You can also checkout the ‘featured artist’ tab on top of the blog for some fun artist highlights.

  • Postable

Hi Alicia! So glad you like the address book 🙂

You can actually purchase a box of blank birthday cards with addressed envelopes to get mailed directly to you now. If you’re having trouble figuring out how to go about this, just shoot us an email and we’ll help you out – info@postable.com.

    Hope this helps!

  • Postable

Ah, yes. Right now this is a logistical problem with the way the cards are all printed and matched with their envelopes, preventing more than one card in an envelope. We’ll definitely think of other ways to make this happen in the future.

So glad you loved your Bridal shower & Save the Date cards 🙂

  • I have two calendars that I maintain for my personal life. My iCloud calendar and my Google calendar. Here is what I would like to happen. Allow me to connect via API to these calendars and then display any major holidays, as well as, anything noted as “birthday”. Show all of the results grouped together by month and then let me choose which events and special occasions will require a card. During months where nothing needs to be sent, allow me to select default “just because” recipients for those months and then you surprise them for me.

Guess what? I also maintain contacts in those two places too. Let me share my contacts so I don’t have to know their address particulars before I order. Ask me to verify it’s the right address when I select the person and then roll with it from your side.

  • Postable

Great idea! Sorry we didn’t have these options this year, we’ll be sure to add some for next year.

  • Postable

Great idea! Right now, you could use the ‘Freshen Contacts’ tool (Account > Address book settings) to send your current contacts an email where they can update their info (no duplicate entries).

  • Postable

Yes! You can actually include the partner and children birthdays as well as anniversary date! To adjust what fields you’re able to see go to Account > Your address request form.

    🙂

  • Postable

That’s a great point! We’ll get working on changing those. In the meantime, we’re happy to tweak a card just for you. If you see a card that you want to use, but the template has the ‘&’ just send us an email and we’ll make you a custom version 🙂

  • Postable

We can actually mail anywhere in the world 🙂 All the cards are mailed via traditional snail mail so we can post it anywhere.

  • Stacey Brown

I would love it if you could just print out To and From addresses on envelopes and no card included OR you could send the addressed envelopes with the cards and I could write the notes and send them out myself.

Also, I would love if you had a calligraphy option for the print.

And I agree with a couple of others that I was bummed to see you could no longer print address labels- That was SO nice!!

  • Adam Ehrenworth

I would love if you had a direct app that allowed you to more seamlessly update or search for my contacts. I don’t know if that is part of your current plan..

I am also not a fan that you removed the label printing option. I know how to do it with an excel export but it was SOOO much easier before.

  • Maggie Lechner

Create an app! So often I want to look up an address in my postae address book but have to find a computer for more ease.

I would like to see more options for a “couples” bridal shower and baby shower. These events are traditionally held for the bride or mother, but I’ve been noticing the “couples” event, where both individuals attend—bride and groom, mom and dad, both moms, both dads, both brides, both grooms—are growing in popularity. I recently sent invites for a “couples” event, and I was able to make one of your pre-made designs work. However, more options would be greatly appreciated!!

Love your cards, and look forward to seeing great things from this company!

  • Heather

An app would be great. There are so many times I want to send cards and letters but am not home to login through the website. Also, being able to group contacts (i.e. Family, friends, ect.) would be nice. Maybe even a way to keep track of how many times you’ve written/received a letter from someone? Being able to print out labels of contacts would be nice also.

  • Marie Janz

I am currently in the Peace Corps serving in Armenia. LOVE LOVE LOVE your site. My 87-year-old mother does not have a computer, so I can easily send her cards and photos.

    I wish I could:
Write on both sides of the cards.
Rotate the custom cards to match the direction of my photos.

Are there cards that aren’t folded?

    Thank you – Marie

  • Ana

Love your product. However, we’ve had a bit of issues on how addresses in some foreign countries show in american address format which doesn’t make sense for some. If you could just include a blank space as an option while imputing these, it’s easier also to copy and paste them. Thank you!

  • Esther

It would be awesome if you integrated a way to customize a font to your own handwriting. Say the app would have you write each letter of the alphabet, and voila–your own handwriting!

  • Miranda Bustamante

Please allow separate text boxes and control of text box placement. I like to send my dad a single card from my siblings and with each of us having our own thing to say and signed at the end. Also, I’m actully not sure if this is already a feature, but birthday and anniversary reminders would be great!

  • Tom Weinland

    1) It would be great to be able to write more in the cards – maybe add an extra page

    2) It would be great to send letters thru postables – maybe have some full page stationery (more than 1 page would be nice) where we could write full letters.

    Thanks,
    Tom

  • Nana BB

I don’t have a completely formulated idea but could you do something to enhance communications between grandmothers and their grandchildren?
Some funny cards, scheduled times, sentence starters where grandparents and grandchildren take turns filling in the blanks ????????

  • Emily T.

    1) Wedding options: guest list addressing on envelopes, create a separate address book just for wedding guest list, cards for wedding party/parents/bride & groom, etc.
    2) A mobile app that will allow the information to sync with your contacts in your phone
    3) Ability to include a separate printed photo with a card for the recipient to keep.

  • EB Skinner

    >Shaped postcards and envelopes
–Ex. Wedding cake shaped envelope or postcard for wedding invite

    >Scented cards/envelopes
–Ex. Rose scented paper for valentine’s day card or envelope

    >Iphone and Android app!!!

  • Beth

I think it would great to be able to design our own cards using available images and backgrounds from your artists.

  • Jennifer

Please make the cards trackable once they are sent! Given that nowadays people barely remember how snail mail works (even though it’s definitely my favorite method of sending well wishes!) it would be nice to know exactly when the card will arrive in real time so that senders can nudge the recipient to check the mailbox.

Also the ability to print a message on the envelope flap would be super helpful and would make the cards that much more personalized.

  • Christine

I’d love it if someone doesn’t put their own birthday in, we could add it later. I tried to go and edit, but from my phone it only allowed me to add something in the notes.

It would also be great to not have it auto address the card to the person who’s name is on the address first, maybe offer a toggle option for addresses that have partners listed???

The one feature that would put postable OVER THE TOP would be to either allow the sender to add money or buy gift cards to send with their cards, say for like graduates!!!

    Thanks for being awesome!

  • A rewards program, earning points as incentive for consistently sending out greetings. For example, not missing a birthday in the contacts all year in return for extra points. Points get free cards. Certain times of year like holidays have even more incentives. I am a member of many rewards programs and it’s a huge incentive for me to shop/participate with those places rather than a competitor knowing there is a reward available for my loyalty and patronage.

  • Lauren Hermes

It would be nice to have a mobile app.

Also a wider variety of cards such as congratulations on being pregnant, or expectant parents.

Tracking stamps would be nice so we know our cards actually made it.

  • Jessica kruger

I’d love to see a wedding invite that also doubled as a rsvp card so they could simply punch it out on the bottom and send it back somehow ( like peel off something on the back to reveal a return postage stamp or something )

  • James DiBernardo

Ability to Facebook contact import/Google accounts contact import.

Ability to save a PDF version of the project.

Ability to print to local shops for faster mailing or local pick up.

  • kristin

I made a custom Christmas card that you would love! It has a very interactive feel to it. Happy to email it, perhaps you’d like to consider it.

  • Kristopher Hernandez

I would love a drag and drop interface where I can design my own card designs. I often want to write my own text, choose colors, and maybe a few fun simple pictures to add!

  • 1. Cards with photos of cats. I have two cats if you need some photos.
    2. Option to add a giftcard to the card.
    3. Ability to have a card arrive on a certain date for extra cost.

  • Myra

Definitely a mobile app where we can view the addresses that we add without the hassle of opening a website. Just open the app and voila. Also, adding signature would be nice too. 🙂

  • Brittany

It would be nice if you had some sort
    Of rewards system. For example-
For every ten cards you send, you get one free.

  • Charissa

1- app!!! – pop up reminder options
    2- step parent cards
3- ability to give a gift card with the card
4- ability to use your own signature to make it more personable

  • Molly Friederich

OMG, reading other ideas gave me an idea… Let us write up our note on a specific size piece of white paper, ie, 3×4 inches.

Then let us take a photo with our phone and upload as a transparent gif so you can print it directly onto the card!

  • Molly Friederich

This sounds silly, but I’d love if you could send me a card that’s fully addressed and stamped, but unsealed so I could add a note in my handwriting.

It would allow me to still leverage you to easily tackle the task of getting a card, addressing it, getting postage when the thought pops into my head, but would allow me to hand-write which to me is so meaningful for a greeting card.

Saves me a trip after work to Walgreens + post office + helps me avoid forgetting to do it six hours after I remember the occasion…

Also… Let me decide on a short list of occasions/recipients I really want to remember, and let me set an alert timeframe (ie, 1 week prior, 2 weeks prior, etc.).

    Thanks!

  • Rosalia

As a new mom, I really love the idea to mail out a “real” card (not digital) to my hubby without the need to go out and shop around. However, it would be great if you can also provide some gift options together with the card. 🙂

  • Robin

First off, I love your site! One thing that would make it easier for me is if you made categories within the “birthday cards” area. Such as funny, for kids, and animals. I think its great that there are so many to choose from, but it can take a while to look through them all in one big list.

  • Sam

I would love an option where I can handwrite on the digital card, maybe write a message and upload it as a photo to insert onto the inside of the card/message? I know my relatives love to see my actual handwriting, and I know I love receiving cards where someone has signed their name. Much more of a personal touch!

  • Tee Carey

I’m part of a 500 member penpal site and sometimes you come across a penpal you don’t click with. Many members have mentioned they wish they could send a nice pinkslip of a card saying it just won’t work.

So, my wish is a penpal breakup card. Something with a funny image on front to soften the blow as much as possible.

  • Monica

I would love an area on the site that allows me to write in a little box under the persons name what gift I’m thanking them for or why I’m writing a card. I always think back and say wait did I say thank you for that gift or sent that person a birthday card!? With that I can just click on their name and see exactly why I sent them a card the date and so forth. Would be a big help.

  • Waldo

I think it’d be great to see small, inexpensive gifts as add-ons to cards, such as stickers with save-the-date type information or bookmarks with short motivational quotes.

My family and friends have really enjoyed receiving the greeting cards and it’d be nice to send a gift that keeps on giving a bit more.

  • I use postable all the time! I love it! One thing I would like to see incorporated is an app that gives you the option to make your own postcards and to send them directly from the app. I know other sites do this (which I use) but I trust postable and would like to see it combined with what you already offer.

  • Kathryn Fleming

Make it so I can use one of my existing contact directories so I can have you send party invitations or Christmas cards, for examples, using your cards. It would also be ideal if you had templates for Christmas cards or party invitations already set up to I could just write in the basic information once for everybody. Then you could compete with places like Costco and Sam’s on cards with your added service of mailing out the cards, but I wouldn’t have to create whole new contact lists!!!

  • Sara Bohannon

I thought it would be cool if people could have “friends” on postable like on other social media sites, and have a profile so that when they change their address, it updates in all their friends’ address books.

  • Bob Moore

    I have 3 requests:

    1) Option for white envelopes to match the white custom card
    2) Ability to have a standard line at the bottom inside the card, in a “normal” font (arial, etc.) so I can have my name, phone number, and email printed inside each card
    3) Ability to put my logo in the Return Address section of the envelopes.

  • You should have Christian cards, especially during the Christmas season, but you should also have them year round for every occasion. Very religious and specifically Christian greeting cards.

  • First and foremost, let me make artwork for your cards! ^_^

Secondly, I would love to see an option to draw, upload, or otherwise insert an actual handwritten signature and/or doodle into cards. I love personalizing cards with little heart doodles or silly drawings after my signature, and I truly crave some feature that would enable this. Even a small library of “doodles” to choose from that can be copied/pasted onto the inside of the card would be a nice touch. Just a thought! <3

  • Maya Alvarez

    1. More font selections – more hand-lettering options
    2. Mobile App
    3. A picture of the card – so you can see what it looked like printed.
    4. A free way to print labels from our address book
    5. A post-card option (99 cents) something small but still a nice gesture if you are on a budget?

  • Caty Freeman

I would LOVE to be able to fill out and address dozens of thank you cards on Postable and have them all mailed to me to be able to stamp and mail out myself.

  • Postable

Ah, sorry about the confusion! Once you save a card with a different sign off, that new sign off will be saved for all future cards 🙂

  • Postable

Hi! Sorry to hear that was confusing! All the codes are a one time use so the more cards you get at one time, the more discount you get 🙂 We also send out codes pretty often if you’re on our email list!

  • Postable

Whoa. These would be really great options! Thanks for the suggestions! We’re working on a gift card option that’s coming soon 🙂

  • Postable

Awesome suggestions! You can actually edit the way the names appear on the envelope and the card. If you’re editing the folded cards, this will be under the ‘Recipient address’ form – however the name and address appears here is the way it will print.

  • Heather

I would love to have some birthday card choices with customizable ages. My Grandpa just turned 92 and would have been great to send a card that said “Happy 92nd Birthday!” Can’t find that in a card shop!

  • Postable

That would be awesome, thanks for the suggestion! We’re working on adding the ability to include images on the inside 🙂

  • Postable

Great ideas! We’re working on adding the reminder emails for the spouse and children, coming soon 🙂 An app is also in the works.

  • Postable

Awesome suggestions! An app is in the works 🙂 There’s no more resolution minimum on the site, just a warning to let you know it may print blurry.

  • Postable

Great idea! That would be super personal 🙂 We’re thinking of ways to make this a possibility and still keeping a high quality print.

  • Postable

Uh no! Sorry to hear you didn’t have an easier time. You should be able to go into the same project (Project’s page) and order more cards from there. We’re definitely working on tweaking these flows to make it more user friendly. Thanks so much for the feedback!

  • Postable

Whoa. Awesome suggestions! Right now there is a notification if a contacts info has been updated in the address book homepage. An app is in the works 🙂

  • Mary W Bruder

I would like to see more variety of dogs. Like miniature poodles, golden retrievers, min pins etc Same with cats. More kids cards.
More personalized cards. For husbands, aunts, niece etc
I love your service and cards!

  • Postable

Awesome suggestions! You can upload an image to the front now (many photo template cards or blank template). We’re working on image options for the inside.

You can also opt in to get Birthday reminder emails if you’d like to get a bit more of a heads up 🙂

  • Postable

Yes! We’re working on adding a feature into the address book that shows you what card each recipient has been sent 🙂 The system will also prevent you from sending the same project to the same person.

  • allison

It would be great to have cards for non traditional family members (ex: step mom/dad/brother/sister) and same-sex weddings/bridal shower.

  • Postable

Yes! We’re working on adding a feature to order ready-made labels as well as the option to just order addressed envelopes (without having to order the cards as well).

  • Sarah

I need, not just spouse birthdays as someone else has suggested, but also people’s childrens’ birthdays and the accompanying reminder to send a card. I would also love to be able to get reminders for couples’ wedding anniversaries. It would be ideal if each feature offered the option of telling you how old or what year anniversary was coming up.

  • Postable

Wow! Great suggestions. We’re working on adding the ability to include images inside the card (like signatures or logos) as well as adding gift cards! Coming soon 🙂

  • Postable

Ah, yes. All of our cards are either 100% recycled or cotton paper. Snail mail isn’t quite as quick as email, this is true 🙂

  • Lindsay B

I’d like the ability to “push” my new contact info to other Postable users in my contacts.

  • Andrew E

I’d like options for the paper being used (card and envelope). Perhaps with an origin or a brief description, depending on the type:
    – from a sustainably managed forest in Deckerville, WA
    – 100% recycled paper sourced in Omaha, NE
    – hand-made banana paper from Guatemala

The environmental impact of paper should be more well known, so it’s nice to educate AND let people decide what they are contributing to.
    Thanks!

  • Postable

So glad we could help make life a bit easier! We’ll be sure to add some more grief cards, good point.

  • Meghan

I wish it were easier to send different cards to different people without having to click to checkout, then go back to projects, etc. It would also be nice if I could send them from different return addresses in the same order, as I use postable professionally and personally.

  • Postable

There are a bunch of photo cards where you can upload your photo to a template or a completely blank card 🙂

We’re working on adding a gift card option too!

  • Postable

Yes! We’re working on adding a feature where you can order ready-made labels or addressed envelopes (without having to get a card).

  • BetsyM

Hello! Here’s one that’s been on my wish list for awhile. Every once in awhile, I use your “Freshen Contacts” feature to make sure the info I have is up to date. I’d love to personalize and edit the email my contacts receive. I have heard from friends that they think the email is spam and so they ignore it. Thank you!

  • Ryan Zona

I love your site and services. Here are my suggestions

    1) Can different fonts be picked for the card vs the envelope?
    2) More filters for cards (photo ones, funny, etc)
    3) I would love an app for this service

  • We need the ability to send the same thank you card to our clients after a job is completed. In other words, to store a custom card in our account, pick names and addresses from our address book and have them sent.
Also I want to second the previous comment who said, the ability to send a gift card with a card. This is a big plus for a business to send with a birthday card to their employees. 🙂

  • Regina Po

Yes! You can actually do this now by going to Account > Address book settings > Freshen Contacts.

  • Christina

I used your site a while back to send invitations for a pre wedding gathering. I wrote your people and suggested you make general party invitations and it looks like now you do! Maybe I can get credit for that idea 😉 you can look at messages between your employee Scott and I 10/23/14.

Another idea is being able to attach gift cards.

Love your site, glad you’re still working on making it even better

  • Regina Po

We’re working on adding gift cards and partner birthdays are live (you can adjust your address book settings by going to Account > Your address request form).

    Awesome suggestions 🙂

  • Regina Po

Wow! Those are great suggestions. We’re working on adding gift cards now 🙂

You can export your address book (address book > export > export now) and then re-import it to any Postable address book. It’s a great idea to make this sharing process easier!

If you click on any artist names on the site now, you’ll be brought to their artist page where you can view all the cards by them.

  • Regina Po

Yes! We’re working on adding a feature to order ready-made labels as well as the option to just order addressed envelopes (without having to order the cards as well).

  • Lynn

Please, please bring back the ability to print out labels from my address book. That worked so well for my holiday cards! That was how I found out about your site and cards in the first place.

  • Kristen P

    1. Wedding workshop: enable me to purchase a wedding package from bridesmaids cards, groomsman cards, to bridal shower thank yous, save the dates (please make these options more customizable) to wedding thank you’s and 1 year anniversary cards.

    2. Integrate with gift cards for b day or celebration cards.

    3. Mobile app.

    4. Integrate with Instagram images.

    5. Collect electronic RSVPs and other data collection (meal selection) via postable link with links to electronic registries with one click checkout.

    6. Enable me to share my family contact book with family members. My cousin is having a wedding and I’d love to share a select family group.

    7. Support artists. Enable us to fund select artists and their work. Fund “collections” or custom requests.

  • It would be nice to have a selection of verses we could put in the cards, similar to buying a card at the store with a verse. A list of verses we could select from to insert into a blank card inside page we are sending, similar to the way we choose a card.

  • Kellie

I would love to have the option to include a gift card in the cards I send AND there needs to be an area for spouse birthdays in your contacts 🙂 LOVE YOU GUYS!

  • Christan Roberts

I would like to be able to “freshen” all my contacts, not just individual people, one by one.

    Thanks

  • Michelle

I would love to see unique finishes and textures to some of the cards! Like inlays, Metallics, and maybe some pop ups? Any nontraditional and unique features you can’t find in a store. Also I give my guy one anniversary card a month and would love to see more dating/anniversary type cards!

  • Jason Gromley

Would be really great if you could upload an image of your signature and have it added to the cards along with the message

  • Renae

    Here is my wishlist prioritized:
    1. Ability to change fonts within 1 card, i.e., change signature font, or to add my own signature from my computer upload.
    2. Add more text without the font being very tiny, perhaps using both sides, or an option (at a cost, if necessary) to have the card be larger, say as a typical Hallmark card.
    3. Addition of more fonts.
    4. All of the responses prior to mine, I read them all, and they are all good ideas! lol

PS, love your product, it’s a dream!

  • Jenn Stevens

Really liked the ability to print address labels from my address book which has been taken away! Would love you to bring that back!

  • Casey

Oh the wishlist! It would be so much better to have Postable as an app. Most of what I do these days is from my phone and it adds a level of difficulty when having to sign in each time through the browser. Also in the app could be notifications for birthdays, etc.

    Cheers!

  • Ahab

Not a services request – I’m a fully satisfied customer – but it would really be nice to diversify your stock wedding card images on your blog and advertisements, given that weddings are a big part of your market. Some ‘Sara and Judith’ or ‘Paul and Devonte’ would go a long way to make what is undoubtebly a good chunk of your market (it’s no secret how much us gays love aesthetic weddings) feel less alienated browsing the website. Thanks!

  • Nikki Pennington

I love your website/services. It has made my life so much easier. As a busy mom of three, going out to get a last minute card is not so simple. This makes my life simple. Here are my suggestions:

    1. I would love to see more cards on grief. Cards on loss don’t always work for someone that is in grief months or years later.

    2. I would like to be able to track my cards so I know when they arrive or when they are in transit.

  • Lauren

With an invite you should have the option to display the entire invite and details in the email. For my last party so many people did not click through to the site to view the card and so many people didn’t get info beyond time and date.

  • Heidi

I would love the option to send an e-card but with the same selection of cards already available. I don’t need one with music links or all that crazy stuff or one with poor graphics, just a more “green” option that I can sent right away because their b-day is today.

  • Nancy

I would love be able to:
    1. Import a scan of my actual signature, and leave loaded as part of my profile.
    2. Import my company logo as part of my signature
    3. Include a gift card, such as Amazon or Starbucks.
    4. Make it easier to build my own card in parts, vs. uploading a single image that I seem to have to build elsewhere and then bring in all at once.

  • Whitney

I love your site! It’s so convenient to just send cards without having to go get them, and you don’t have to worry about getting stamps!

    Suggestions…
    – Maybe have a 99c card section like most stores do? Sometimes it’s nice to just send a “note” instead of a full on card, for the less important things.
    – Have an option for shipping faster? I know sometimes I get the birthday reminder emails, but then to make the card (which sometimes I forget and it takes me a few days) and then it’s another 2-7 days to deliver, on TOP of the 1-2 days usually before I get an email saying it’s been sent
    – Options to add certain gift cards in the card as well! Gift card + birthday card = birthday gift DONE. Very convenient for those sending cards to people far way
    – It’d be kinda neat if you could find a way to somehow like, input our own handwriting and be able to put it in your card? Like we write the message on a piece of paper, scan it, and it can be integrated into the card…so it’s in our own handwriting. A cool personal touch.

  • Tyhese

Love the service! Would be helpful to see all greeting cards previously sent to each Contact so we don’t duplicate by mistake. Thank you.

  • Ashlee

I would love to be able to add a gift cards to my cards. Basically I buy the card plus whatever denomination of gift card I want ($25 Amazon, iTunes, etc) and pay for that when I check out.

  • Nicholas Roubal

Expedited delivery options would be a great option. As it happens, many times I check my calendar for only a few days ahead of time and end up cutting it really closely!

Option to drop in an image or signature would be a great touch as well.

The card selection and price are fantastic!

  • Tina Green

An app for phones! There are so many times I need an address while I’m out and about and want to send something quickly – however I am never able to access Postable on my phone. I’d love the ease of not only accessing addresses but sending quick cards as well from the app 🙂

  • Michelle

    RSVP cards to wedding invitations.
More fonts to choose from and colors of fonts
Add gift cards to birthday cards
    Signature return address designs
Stickers to add to the back of the envelope
    More envelope options

  • Hello! I LOVE Postable. Especially the Address Book, I use and recommend it all the time.
    – I’m so happy it is now mobile friendly, although I really wish it were available as an iPhone app. I currently have the Safari link pinned to my iPhone and iPad springboards for easy access but an app would be the best.
    – I would also love to receive an email or some sort of message that lets me know if someone has updated their contact info. I’d also love to be able to see a calendar of birthdays.
    – If I could upload 1 or more custom signatures that I can easily add to any card, custom or non-custom design, that would be great, too!

  • Would be amazing if you had cards that had detachable stickers/magnets. Would be great holiday gifts/thank you cards/personalized for a group or individual gift.

  • Jill Stanek

I recently used your service which I thought was excellent. However it would be great if the experience was a bit more user friendly … For instance, it’s very difficult to go back after you save. If you want to add more cards to your order, you have to start a new order . I found that very difficult to navigate. You should make that functionality more logical and user friendly ..

  • Becky

make cards with handwritten notes printed on them. allow the user to write a note on a solid white sheet of paper and take a photo of it with their smartphone to upload and have the handwritten note printed on the card rather than a typed note. it would add a more personal touch to the card(s) being sent!

  • Ashley

    Hello, Postable!

It would be good to have the option to write in the cards virtually using a pen tool. Please make this happen. I’d use Postable more often.

  • Bryan

It would be nice to be able to add a cashier’s check (or some form of funds) to a card. You can charge customers the amount plus a service fee. The convenience is well worth it.

  • molly Goldberg

App for my phone where I could:
    a) send postcards / cards from my phone
    b) send cards with photos from my phone, please allow lower resolution photos to be used! Huge pain currently to send cards featuring low resolution photos taken with my phone.
    c) Use the address book as its own feature on my phone that connects to Google Maps. Just Saturday I was going to a party and I logged into Postable to get my friend’s address. Would be awesome to have addresses as my address book in one simple app on my home screen.

  • Alex

    Goodness, the wishlist is infinite:
-an APP (i’m sure you’ve never heard that one before…) it would be so great to get the b-day notifications on your phone and just quickly type up a card and hit “send” w/ payment info saved
-the ability to see the birthdays in your address book in a calendar “at a glance” rather than just showing those that are upcoming
-automated reminders for spouses/children (what’s the point of putting them in the address book if you’re not reminded?)
-reminder on the day of their b-day (in addition to the current ahead of time reminders)

I seriously am obsessed with Postable. Keep up the awesomeness!

  • The ability to have a choice on the paper finish for custom cards (upload your own design) such as linen, matte, high gloss, and maybe vellum? And uploading custom designs on the interior as well.

  • Dan

Autopen for seemingly handwritten notes would be amazing.

Upload your signature or text for the inside of cards so we can have a more customized “hand-written” experience.

  • Hannah Nielsen

Would be lovely to be able to edit the names on the envelope and the card.
Also would be great to be able to change color and font within the same card (I just always like to sign my name in cursive! Haha)
Lastly… Could we maybe use both sides inside the card to write our messages?

PS – looooooove the card designs 🙂

  • Meg

It would be awesome if you offered same day and overnight delivery for cards. This is an untapped market, and there is a lot of demand. Attach a couple standard gift options with the cards, and it would be fantastic! Flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, bow ties, fragrance, gift cards, birthday cakes and candles, bath bombs, etc., and it would be extra stellar! Maybe pair with another supplier such as Shari’s Berries, Pro Flowers, or Amazon. If you started offering the cards through Amazon Prime, that would be great! I would also love scented and musical cards and confetti, upon opening! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  • Rachel Barash

Love your site. However when I used a discount code I didn’t realize it was for a one time use. Please make it more clear how to use codes. Thanks!!

  • Griffin Tamura

I would like a way to easily change your default signature. I signed one card a long time ago with a different name, and now that name comes up by default every time I write a card.

  • Molly

Hi Postable! This might already be a thing but, if it’s not, you should do contests where people can submit their card designs! I think it would be really popular 🙂

  • Insiah Villegas

I’d love to be able to create several different cards, with different addresses, and still pay for them all at once at check out. Currently, I have to create each card and pay for it separately or use the same card for all 🙁

  • Crystol G

    Hi Postable!
I would love an option that would enable an email to be sent to everyone in the address book to ask them to check their address details and update if necessary.

  • Anne

I also wish there were stickers or pre-made graphics that I could add to the inside of cards.

Perhaps there could even be a way to upload an image of my genuine handwritten signature and use that on my card.

  • Alexis Jones

My idea would be a way to have multiple address books into one. For example I had to make two separate postable accounts for my wedding addresses and my bridal shower addresses. It would be really awesome if you guys made a way to have separate boxes with links to add a new address book for the numerous occasions in our lives!

  • Amy S

It would be useful to be able to set up reoccurring cards. That way no one has to know that I cannot remember a birthday!

  • Ben

I would love it if you guys had a feature to be able to schedule a card to be sent at some point in the future vs. immediately. Thanks for all you do!

  • Greg

I would like to see the following:
    1. Reminder e-mails for holidays should come out earlier. I am purchased a card within 24 hours of receiving a holiday e-mail twice (ex. Father’s Day) & my cards still did not arrive to their destination on time.
    2. Custom Event Reminders and/or Facebook Integration. i.e. If I am invited to an event on Facebook & can or cannot make it, I’d like to be reminded to send a card. Similarly, I want to be notified when (select) it is select Facebook friends’ birthdays or anniversaries.
    3. Smart Reminder E-mails. i.e. “Last year at this time you wished Joe Smith a happy birthday. Login & send a card this year to make sure you don’t forget about him this year”

When I think of more I will post again. Thanks guys!

  • Anne

I wish there was a setting that let me send “thinking of you” cards to friends at random times throughout the year!

  • Luke

    Hello!
I would really like having detail on exactly when (or as close as possible) the card would arrive. Kinda like Amazon with their Christmas countdown on how soon you need buy/ship to make the date.
    Thanks!

  • Samantha Crouch

It would be great if we could track the card once it is sent.

It would be a nice addition if we could include a selection of “e-gift” cards as well (ie. Starbucks, Amazon, Walmart)

  • Annie

    Hi Postable!
Love your site and currently using it, wedding isn’t till April 15th so I have some time. What I would love is for the count to be accurate when trying to determine the total number of guests. For example, when creating an address book when you see total number there should be 2 separate numbers, 1 for total number of invitations (this helps determine number of invitationswhen using you and/or a third party for invites, save the dates), and the other number should include total GUESTS which includes significant others and kids who roll up under the one person’s name. I hope this makes sense.

    Have a great day!
    Annie

I’d love to see more cards with sassy, sarcastic humor! Or some humorously offensive stuff on them, especially for birthdays!

  • Jamie Cassidy

I would absolutely adore if you had the option of including flat objects, like those mini whoopee cushions, or tea bags, or stickers…the options are fairly endless, especially if you have the ability to purchase things in large batches. For example, special scratch off messages or games, mini books, those paint pages where you have the flat circles of watercolor and you wet them to paint the picture. Ooohhh! I want a job with you to find these objects! Another idea: hire me. Oh, and absolutely, how about a way to gussy up the envelope..like the option of a stamp or two you put on there?

  • Sarah

I would like the option of being able to request the existing addressees in my address book to confirm their address is still accurate–like a simple/quick YES or NO email to encourage responses.

  • Noah Kimmel

I would like the ability to filter to a more granular level on cards. For instance, if I want to send a birthday card, my option is to go to Birthday > Cards then look one by one through hundreds of cards.

I would want to have sub-filters for things like: emotion (funny, mushy, other), recipient (man, woman, friend, dad, etc), size, orientation, texture, or other features.

Don’t just make it easy to send a card, make it easy to pick one!

  • steve

    Howdy!
Having featured artists or limited run cards would be cool. Also, What Taylor said… Gift cards are a great idea.

  • Alicia Brunson

    Hello.

I love the birthday reminders and the option to send cards, but I’m a very personable person so I’d rather write and sign my own cards. So maybe an option to buy a package of birthday cards at once? Or be able to customize it so you can pick 25 (or however many) different cards to go in a package? And maybe even the option to add printing to the envelopes (return address as well as the address of whom you want to send it to). If this were an option, I’d order all my birthday cards at one time, once a year and it would save me a lot of hassel having to remember to go to the store and pay the $5-$9 a card there.

Just my opinion. 🙂 I already love the address book. That’s the only reason I have an account your site at the moment.

Thanks for everything you do though. 🙂

    Alicia B.

A way to save your own handwriting (via using a stylus and smartphone screen or some fashion) to laser print personalized message onto a card and send to loved ones for special occasions!

  • Anna Costa

    Hello,

I used your service two christmas’ ago but a bunch of my contacts didn’t get their cards. When I tried to find a way to get in contact with you about customer service I couldn’t find anyone to contact. When I tried to go back in and order more cards it wouldn’t let me know since it was marked as “sent” I think it would be awesome if there are issues with mailings that it would be easier to rectify the problem. Otherwise I really liked how easy it was to send cards. Thanks!

  • Lauren

It would be amazing if the Wedding Invitations could include RSVP cards/postcards. I was thinking of using Postable for mine, but I really want the guests to be able to RSVP by mail. I used Postable for my Bridal Shower invites and Save the Dates and loved them!

  • Meghan

I think creating an app for iPhones to access your postable address book would be awesome! (Super helpful when I’m on the go and want to access my list.)

  • Evan Cox

It would be great if I could add or insert a signature into the card – something handwritten, or scanned from a white piece of paper.

  • Alyssa

For Mother’s and father’s day, I would have loved selections of cards for step-parents. I have both a stepmother and stepfather and couldn’t find a card for them. Also the option of “you’re like a mother/father to me” would be great.

  • Heather

    Hi Postable!
I would really like to see some more “best friends” or friendship cards specifically about women’s friendships, as well as animal cards.
    Thanks!

  • Leea Camarrw

I would love the address book to be enhanced so when asking for addresses from individuals they were prompted saying they already exist or to edit current opposed to creating a duplicate entry.

  • Lisa

I love the fact that you can put a photo on the card! It would be even better if we could add a border &/or font to the cover!

  • We would LOVE the option of having multiple birthdays per address. Families and couples share contacts, and have the ability to put in their birthday and anniversary, but having both birthdays would be even better! (Plus, you’d make more because I’d send more cards, sooooo…? 🙂

  • Beth Hall

Take away the “&” on the Thank You Notes. Right now, only couples (engaged, married, etc.) can use the Thank You Notes because of the “&” symbol. It would be great for other people to use them, too.
